ClicBox Join the Builders Merchant Federation

ClicBox are delighted to have recently received their official status as a member of the Builders Merchant Federation.  The Builders Merchants Federation (BMF) is the only organisation that represents and protects the interests of builder’s merchants, plumbing, heating, roofing, decorative and timber merchants and their suppliers. They are the authoritative voice for the building materials distribution sector, conveying the views and issues that face merchants and suppliers, to the widest possible audience.

The ClicBox carcass concept will appeal directly to a broad range of clients such as  kitchen fitters, builders, merchant groups and developers due to the fact it can be constructed in 30 seconds. This will revolutionise the way the kitchen manufacturing and construction industries do business as not only will it save these businesses time, but also money.

When compared with the traditional method of constructing a carcass, ClicBox offers many advantages such as:

• No need for tools, glues or screws

• It is easier to transport, handle and deliver

• Takes up to 69% less van space

• Can be assembled up to 5 times quicker than normal flat pack cabinets

• Is stronger than traditional cabinet designs

• There are no visible fixtures

In terms of its physical properties, ClicBox technology features 18mm thick MFC panels, with 1mm ABS across its leading edges and 8mm solid back panelling. Constructed units feature 18mm adjustable shelves that are fully edged all round and can be positioned at one of three possible heights. Wall cabinets are 330mm deep, with an 18mm void and internal depth of 304mm, while base cabinets are 570mm deep with a 49mm void and an internal depth of 513mm. ClicBox cabinets also feature solid top and bottom panels, which are fully interchangeable without the need of cumbersome tools.
